1982
Artistic Auto Body’s roots can literally be traced back to this garage! Our founder, Terry Mostul, began buying and repairing cars here after college, and eventually realized that he had the beginnings of a business when people started calling and asking if he could do repairs.

1986
Thus, Artistic Auto Body was created and Terry was able to open his first shop which was only 1600sq ft but a big step up in the right direction. Artistic Auto Body foundation was developed: restoring peace of mind by delivering quality auto body repairs and exceptional customer service.

1988
By 1988 Artistic Auto Body was growing, so the decision was made to start hiring employees and expand from the current space into an adjacent space making it a total of 7,700sqft of shop.

1990
Again, a few years down the road Artistic Auto Body continued to grow and word of the quality repairs was beginning to create a loyal following of customers who trusted the Artistic Auto Body brand. Terry expanded his shop another 2500sq. ft.

1992
Artistic Auto Body had become more successful than Terry could have ever imagined! As Terry’s family grew, so did the business. Needing more room he began looking for additional space.

1996
In 1996, Artistic Auto Body expanded and opened a second shop located in Wilsonville. We were very fortunate to have a great team to help start the Wilsonville shop, many of whom are still there to this day.

1997
Finally in 1997 Artistic Auto Body came to its current home. The property was purchased in Tigard right off of Highway 217 and by 1998 we took over the entire building expanding from 16,000sq ft to 32,000sq ft!

2007
In the spring of 2007 Artistic Auto Body met demand by adding yet another 14,000sq ft to the Tigard shop, allowing for repair segmentation and speedier repair process times. By the fall Artistic entered into an agreement with Buzz Braley, the owner of Braley & Graham Auto Mall and expanded our operations by taking over their body shop.

Artistic Auto Body was founded by Terry Mostul in 1982 and to this day Terry credits his blacksmith grandfather with instilling in him a passion for quality, doing it right the first time, and making sure the customers are happy, because they are why his business exists.
Terry started Artistic Auto Body’s first repair shop in Beaverton, Oregon. The business continued to grow and today, Artistic Auto Body provides quality workmanship and excellent customer care at three locations – Tigard, Wilsonville, and Beaverton. Terry continues to drive innovation in the company’s repair processes, and he encourages every employee to focus on restoring the customer’s peace of mind during the difficult time of collision repair.
