Artistic Auto Body What to Expect when Getting an Estimate

Where do I go? What do I do? I have to get what…an estimate?! These are just some of the questions that you may be faced with after getting into an accident. Auto collisions are never fun nor are they ever timed to conveniently fit into our schedules, but they do happen. Fortunately, you don’t have to worry… Artistic Auto Body is here to repair your vehicle and restore you peace of mind! As a customer, this may be your first estimate, and it may be unclear what is going to happen and how long it will take. This brief guide will prepare you for the estimate process at Artistic Auto Body.

Artistic Auto Body offers vehicle repair estimates on-site or online. For your convenience, feel free to stop by any of our three locations with or without an appointment. At Artistic Auto Body, we make a determined effort to accommodate your schedule. If you choose an on-site estimate, please allow thirty to forty-five minutes for our professional estimators to properly photo, diagnose and prepare a detailed repair estimate. The diagnosis and repair plan preparation could include checking alignment, scanning indicator lights, making temporary repairs or buffing scratches that may not require paint work. For your safety, these provisions are made not only to provide the most accurate preliminary estimate on your vehicle, but also to ensure it is in good running condition to be driven until you have been scheduled for repairs. As a customer, you can do a lot to provide insight and information that is critical for the proper estimating of your vehicle’s repair.

Upon arrival at any one of our auto body shops, you will be greeted by our friendly customer service specialist dedicated to learning your repair preferences, rental needs and other concerns following an accident. Please do not take offense to our probing questions surrounding the events of the accident. This information and your description of how the accident took place can tell more about the vehicle’s repair needs than just what is seen from the visual damages. For instance, it is not uncommon to have impact damage on the right side of the vehicle from a merging vehicle. Although the primary impact is to the right side, if the customer had not shared that the vehicle was also pushed over the curb to the left, the shop may not have identified suspension damage on the left front of the vehicle at the time of the initial estimate. It is important to share all pertinent information. Once the diagnosis is complete, the estimator will prepare a written estimate based only on the damages that can be identified before disassembly. Once the estimate is completed, Artistic Auto Body will offer options and services to fulfill the facilitating and scheduling of the collision repair which include communicating with the insurance company and setting up the rental car reservation, if needed. Our job is to Restore Peace of Mind and make the repair process as seamless as possible for you from start to finish.
